ABCTE to Visit Six States for Free “Become a Teacher” Information Sessions in Early Part of New Year

Washington, D.C. (December 22, 2010) —

Beginning January 11, Teaching Certification Program Holds Events in Idaho, Missouri, South Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania

In January and February, the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE) visits cities in Idaho, Missouri, South Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania for free, live information sessions about its online teaching certification program.

Information sessions will include a 45 minute to one hour-long introduction to the program and offer an opportunity to have questions answered in-person by members of the ABCTE staff. The ABCTE certification is accepted by public schools in ten states and the organization has issued nearly 3,000 certifications.
