The AMERICAN BOARD seeks a highly detail-oriented Administrative Assistant who excels in customer service, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills. Individuals who are hungry to solve real business problems in a fast-paced environment should apply.

This is a temporary assignment with the potential for extension with the right candidates. Priority will be placed on candidates with immediate availability. Both part-time and full-time candidates will be considered.

Essential Job Functions:

The Administrative Assistant will assist with the AMERICAN BOARD Events and PR department, Candidate Services department, Finance department, and HR department. The Administrative Assistant will fulfill critical tasks that contribute to the success of the office’s daily functions. These duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling event space for the outreach program
  • Keeping track of event venue contacts and interactions
  • Maintaining internal program materials
  • Filing, mailing, and faxing upon request
  • Placing welcome calls to program candidates
  • Inputting candidate records into Lotus database
  • Assisting with the PR program’s needs
  • Coordinating travel for employees
  • Documenting expenditures for the Finance department
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Salary: $14/hr.
