Online Marketing/Social Media Specialist

The American Board is recruiting an Online Marketing/Social Media Specialist to join our organization. The position will be responsible for our social media presence and promotion on relevant platforms, as well as proactively coordinating with Communications Specialist on key projects. We are looking for someone with experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing. Anyone applying should have a basic familiarity with Photoshop or Lightroom, and have proven experience with online marketing management.

Primary duties will include:

  • Develop relevant content topics to reach our target market.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
  • Create, implement and monitor email marketing campaigns to promote our program.
  • Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
  • Develop topics for blog and write regular blog posts.
  • Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
  • Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
